About the Mission
The Union Mission has various programs to help hurting people. From a downtown men’s shelter to family services and church outreach, the Mission meets people where they are, welcomes them, feeds them, clothes them, and introduces them to the love of Jesus Christ. Union Mission’s primary ministries are:
- Brookside Family Life Center
A residential program for single women with children as well as single mothers-to-be - Union Mission Crossroads
Our downtown rescue shelter facility for men - Union Mission: Foundations
Our discipleship program for men committed to addiction recovery - Union Mission Family Services
Offering food, clothing, and counseling to struggling families in 17 West Virginia counties - Union Mission Outreach
Satisfying physical and spiritual hunger in 46 West Virginia counties - Union Mission Thrift Store
Turning bargains into blessings
Each ministry serves people in various ways. Each ministry has special needs and requires a devoted staff, faithful volunteers, and a loving attitude to those who are hurting.
Consider how you can be a part of any of these ministries. Whether through a donation of time or money, the Mission could use your help.
